4. Audience measurement with Umami Analytics

We use Umami Analytics to understand the general use of the website, such as pages viewed, traffic sources, device type, browser, approximate country or general events such as player usage.

Umami is a privacy-friendly analytics tool. In its standard configuration, Umami does not use tracking cookies, does not track visitors across different websites, and does not directly identify visitors.

This data is used only for statistical purposes and to improve the website.

The website does not use advertising cookies or marketing trackers.

Strictly necessary technical mechanisms may be used to make the website work properly, for example to maintain a session, protect access to the player or limit abuse.

8. Community live chat

If a community live chat is enabled, messages sent in the chat may be visible to other logged-in members.

Messages may be retained in order to operate the chat, display history, moderate content, ensure security and prevent abuse.

SubRosa reserves the right to remove any message that is abusive, unlawful, discriminatory, violent, promotional or contrary to the spirit of the website.

  • AzuraCast for radio streaming;
  • Supabase if listener accounts or live chat are enabled;
  • Upstash or Redis for rate limiting and abuse prevention;
  • Google Apps Script or Google Sheets for receiving certain feedback;
  • Umami Analytics for privacy-friendly audience measurement.

Each of these services may process certain technical data necessary for its operation.

10. Data retention

Data is kept only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

  • Feedback data may be kept for as long as it remains useful to improve the website and the radio.
  • Account data is kept for as long as the account remains active.
  • Chat data may be kept to display message history and allow moderation.
